Curious, Creative, and Strategic – these qualities define my approach to content and communications.

With 10+ years of experience managing diverse projects and collaborating with various stakeholders, I thrive in mission-driven, collaborative partnerships. My approach has led to breaking new ground in marketing for esteemed publications like Slate and TIME Magazine, compelling content for leading non-profits like V-Day and the Center for Women's Global Leadership, and thorough project management for the Center for Research on Ending Violence. For my clients and personal content projects, I have honed my ability to distill complex issues into clear, compelling messaging, always keeping the audience at the center of my communication strategy. This skill instills confidence in my ability to convey your values, ideas, or products in a way that resonates with the intended audience.

Passionate about mission-driven organizations that align with my values in social justice and human rights, I hold a bachelor's in Communications and Geography and a master's degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies - Feminist Practices for Social Change. My academic career has focused on how our society and the issues we collectively care about are significantly shaped by media. Because of this, media must be a powerful tool to disrupt the normalization of harm. I am guided by my values of compassion and care, so I am dedicated to working with organizations and projects that are also mission-driven, leveraging my skills to amplify their impact.

My unique strength lies in my ability to see the big picture while maintaining a keen eye for detail. This strategic approach reassures that I can deliver goal-oriented creative solutions. By leveraging data-driven insights, I craft strategies that resonate with audiences across multiple platforms – from print and digital to podcasts and social media. My expertise in information design allows me to seamlessly integrate data and copy, creating narratives that captivate aligned audiences.

Slate
As the marketing manager of the award-winning branded content studio Slate Studios, I wore many hats. I contributed by conceptualizing custom content programs for clients, crafting marketing materials (case studies presentations, pitch decks, one-sheets, newsletters), redesigning Slate brand materials, writing copy to bring Slate’s brand narrative to life, researching industry trends, audience data points, talent examples, and so much more.

I am particularly proud of my work, where I weaved advocacy into content programs for clients like Macy’s, Mozilla Firefox, and Doctors Without Borders.

THE WEBBY AWARDS HONOREE
Client:
Mozilla Firefox
Goal: Bring Mozilla Firefox's support of internet accessibility, safety, and advocacy to life through a multi-media content program.
Role:
I helped conceptualize the program, researched examples of digital activism, and found potential guests to bring this program together. Before winning the business, I created pitch deck slides and pulled research that proved Slate was the right partner and environment for this type of content. Once the campaign was complete, I made a case study deck highlighting the immense success using campaign data points and audience research.

Slate
Client: Dairy Pure
Goal: Create a content program that speaks to parents and highlights Dairy Pure’s playful brand voice.
Role:
Drawing from my perspective on children and families and the client’s RFP, I conceptualized this custom podcast program focused on the lessons parents can learn from their kids. Before winning the business, I pulled audience data and built the Slate narrative explaining why we were the right partners. I researched and pulled guest examples for episodes, including Danielle Krysa (The Jealous Curator), who ended up joining us as a guest. The Wall Street Journal listed this podcast as a top parenting podcast.

How To Raise A Parent - a podcast about the surprising things our kids can teach us.
